OUR MONTHLY CALENDER
Our activities often vary in purpose and frequency. We are very mindful of making time for prayer, teaching, fellowship, outreach, and family and friends. We aim to be effective in our planning while also being conscious of not overloading our church community with activities.
We want time to have healthy relationships with friends and family so that God’s love might continue to impact and change lives.
Generally we meet in home two or three times a month on Wednesdays.

OUR SUNDAYS
We meet at 840 Armour Rd., (East City) Peterborough, ON K9H 2A2. You will be greeted when you arrive and helped with any questions you might have.
We generally start at 10:00 am and finish about 11:45. Most Sundays we will spend time together in the foyer over a coffee after the meeting.
Our dress is casual and appropriate, and our meetings are informal.
You can expect spiritual gifts to be used in all our gatherings and by a variety of people. Our talk is biblically mindful, culturally relevant, and by and large practical.
Usually there is a time to respond to the talk and to receive prayer for situations that people are experiencing. People regularly experience God’s presence in our gatherings.
We want to see children excited about knowing and following Jesus. River Run has dedicated and eager children workers who create a fun and safe place where kids (0-11) can find Jesus, and grow with Jesus.
OUR MINISTRIES
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
We want the Peterborough area to experience Jesus. Several times a year we organize and host events that connect friends and neighbours with River Run. They are fun and meaningful times that include student lunches, community breakfasts, children’s parties, etc.
CHRISTIANS AGAINST POVERTY (CAP)
CAP is about empowering the local church to relieve the poverty they see in their neighbourhoods. It works through a network of churches that through a debt counseling service offer hope, friendship and a practical way out of poverty and debt. It aims to prevent debt through its budgeting and money management course.
River Run regularly offers CAP’s budgeting and money management course to the public. If you are interested in the course please contact us. All matters are confidential.
INTERNATIONAL MINISTRY
River Run passionately supports overseas missions and missionaries. We currently support ministries in Mexico, Asia and South America where friends are furthering the love of Jesus in word and demonstration.
We also arrange regular ministry trips to Peru. We (River Run with our family of churches) connect with several Peruvian churches and church networks, and travel extensively throughout the city of Lima and the country encouraging pastors, preaching and teaching, and praying for miracles.
STUDENTS
We enjoy having students with us and we encourage them to be fully involved in all we do as a church family.
Our gathering place is accessible by a major city-bus route or you can call our contact number, and we would be happy to arrange a ride.
